As a player pirate perhaps wasn't as active as he could have been but lyle had only been on two hours in the fixture so i don't blame pirate for not checking as much. Their seems to be a pattern developing with lyle as much as i like him as hes fairly inactive each set which hopefully will be better soon.

Regards to adam and tinie, rolls are reversed but tinie was more active than lyle, i agree he should have made effort sooner though but hes been more active out of the two.

As a runner point of view the extension was given in good faith, this has happened on Pool recently and it decided the tie, Up to you guys of course if you want to play or not but from a runner point of view i hope they are decided on the tables

True but sometimes we use common sense, an extension has worked on pool recently and been effective. If you don't want the extension then don't play and it goes to defaults as before.

The fact that there was an extension on pool too doesnt mean i agree with it
But even if we want to make an analogy, we cant. Both teams tried hard to get that last game played but failed due to players being on at different times. But here we have 3/5 games gone to default which certainly is non interest in trying to get games played.

HAHAHAHA slagging off folk for apparently making up their own rules, then making up your own rules yourself. that is embarrassing.

We would only extend deadlines for cup games. This is because the defaults for those are usually extremely cumbersome, because every point matters.
But we'll do the defaults.
Also a reminder about defaults: messages and effort is the most important element.
captain's efforts are a plus and are considered, but nothing more. in the end, the players must make the effort.

We want to play these games because at the end of the day every effort should be made to get as many games done on the table as possible and a cup match shouldn't be decided on defaults because one side refuses to play any games. I assume that NA refusing to play means they forfeit the tie?

we was both pretty poor tbh, we can both definitely play better for sure as apart from the first frame and possibly the last the standard was fairly bad, arcade i needed one chance 1st frame with a 75, 2nd frame was scrappy i somehow nicked it, both frames of regular were scrappy we shared although second frame i had some good fortune to win it, original again scrappy affair i nicked 1st by one point then he took the 2nd, overall fair result had 3 all written all over it but nicked it somehow, i know hes a great player just a shame we were both not at the races ggs bud

No. We dont force extensions on anyone. There were two weeks to complete the games and it looks like both teams screwed this up by leaving completely inactive players in the tie.
If people really wanted these games played, then tinie or tyler wouldve been subbed out ages ago.
Both teams have 5 active players that could've easily played these games. I dont see any excuse for either team really. A few people will at least get an entry on the defaulters list.

Yes both teams are equally responsible for games not being played. One game was our fault (Tyler), one was their fault (tinie) and one was just the players didn't manage to meet each other. Surely the fact that we actually tried on deadline day to get the games played and were faced with a deliberate attempt to win on defaults must count for something? Last time I checked, refusing a sub against an active player wasn't allowed.

I think some things need to be shown in public. If it's now allowed to refuse subs against active players to try to win on defaults then it's only fair everyone should know. If it's still not allowed, then captains need to me made aware of this so that this never happens again. The nitty gritty of the scores and who should go on the defaulters list is for the default panel I agree, but this is a matter of exactly what the rules are. People need to know.
