I've noticed it's only an announcement if you get a 5 run in carom during a ranked match but not during a practise game unless it's 6+... I think a 50+ break should be a practise announcement too .. or is there some reason it isn't?

Think the Carom practice run announcement is on 7+, not 6... a bit unsure though.
Also I think the 50+ break in practice isn't on there as you can always move the balls around to help just tap in ad build a break easily in practice. Where as in Carom even if you set yourself up for the first shot it is a lot harder to know where the balls will be for your third or 4th shot where in practice arcade for example you could have them all hovering over the pockets.
