Can someone explain what's going on? I'm not sure if this a new money grabbing technique by Sir Funkysnooker himself or if it's just this terrible laptop I'm using, it could be either.

For the last few weeks now every time I log in I have a pop up ad display itself in the bottom right hand corner which refuses to close, even though it gives me the standard 'This ad will close in 30 seconds' line. When the ad finishes another takes it's place. It also offers me no X to close the ad. I've left it open today without playing and after 15 minutes or so (just before you get turfed out for inactivity) the ad disappeared. So I picked up my cue to start a frame and it instantly returned.

Help/Advice would be great (Screenshot is in the spoiler)

All I can suggest is that you upgrade to premium account as that cuts out all ads. Seems a little strange for it to appear there..

Also a tip: where it says players have *joined members bar* u can stop that appearing... just go into your game settings and check the box that says *surpress entry/exit messages

With all due respect I don't play enough to warrant paying for premium. When realistically there are numerous ad blockers I can use. I'm not here to do that however.

I quite like seeing who has entered the members bar too let's me keep an eye out for old users, thank you though.

Looks like a virus to me.

Possibly a bad java download.

ad blocker wouldnt of solved the problem anyway as it was a virus
