Semi-Final Regular Game

breaks of 116, 118, 84, 89 and 65 for me
breaks of 83, 94 and 79 for him

Nice high scoring match here, i played flawless at the start, then got progressively worse with my positional play which stopped anymore big breaks unfortunately. First two frames saw a brief safety exchange at the start before i potted a long one up the table and i cleared with my first chances and had two nice cent clears. third frame i underhit a ball after being undecided on my shot the timer was about to run out and he took full advantage with a nice half. I took the next two for a 4 - 1 lead, count underhit a ball again in the one and i took it first chance, the other saw me get in first again but cannon didnt work so played safe then i got another chance and sealed it from there. sixth frame i thought this red passed into the bottom pocket from counts break off but it was tight, i think too tight in the end because i fully committed to it and smashed open the reds and he made no mistake and punished me, he should of had a cent after a lovely pink to set it up. I took the next with a low 69 break just about got over the line before a poor positional. I had the chance to wrap it up in the next but i hit the blue by a fraction going for brown and he cleared very well. I got the win in the next though with a low 66 before missing but luckily frame was over

need to keep up the consistency i showed at the start for the final though because got a bit loose towards the end of the match, luckily i didnt give count too many chances especially at the start because he still played really well and potting very well indeed ggs mate ul

Dave played a lot better than the breaks suggest, neither of us missed much at all and was potting long ones for fun at times the frames were usually decided by an unlucky cannon or positional shot, just i had a few less than him fortunately. the turning point was at 4 - 4 when i made a frame clearance in a frame he should have won then i had two bits of good fortune in the next to take it to 6 - 4 with a cent which gave me the momentum to take the next two with winning breaks from first chances so sorry about that one mate tbh was just good practice as he brings my A game out of me most of the time, was some top class stuff even if he thought he played meh haha ggs mate pleasure playing a beast as always fella

ya welcome m8 im jst happy it wasnt more lol, ya had ya A game n wen ya do ya have to be bang on it to keep it close n i feel i wasnt man that was all bt tbh ya played very well we both gave a few chances bt we both played some gd games yh yor breaks were top m8 :))
