why has ste been banned? one of the best players on the site! has a laff but neva does anythin wrong! explanation?

Me n Steven never saw eye to eye... or is that cue to cue, but I don't think he ever did anything as serious as to get banned from here!! He was a class player, I think the Admin should un-ban him or give us some sort of explanation!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The mods and admin wont give us an answer, as they know they are wrong in banning steven. Maybe if he did something wrong give him a 7 day ban or something, not delete his account. He was certainly one of the best ever players on this game, and to have all his records gone benefits nobody.

Hmm... he was banned by nick but i can't tell you the reason but it was serious.

plus riseagainst have you got a thing against moderators and admins cause your lack of respect for the mods/admins is starting to get under all of our noses!

I dont have a lack of respect for you as people, youre all just normal people like everyone else on here. I have a problem with the way you deal with situations and the amount of favouritism you show. People are asking a simple question, so why didnt you just give the answer above before. If you have given that answer a day ago when asked all would be understood. You are here to represent this game and answer questions for those who do not know the answer.

P.s. That doesnt count for farren though, he's been excellent as always.

I have a problem with the way you deal with situations and the amount of favouritism you show.

People are asking a simple question, so why didnt you just give the answer above before.

Firstly, admin do not ban users unless there is evidence to show that a banning is warrant.

Secondly, Favouritism? What do you mean by this? In what way are staff members going against certain users rather than others?

Thirdly, Revenge explained on a previous thread why these threads are not allowed on the forum, it is also explained on the help centre.

Forthly, i thought that steven was a good player too, so does that mean i should ask him to be unbanned? Is this what you call favouritism? Is this how you want moderators to work? The better the player, the more immune they should be?

The forum rules exist for a reason: to keep the forum useful for members without descending into name calling and arguing.

A lot of threads recently have been related to enquiring about moderating decision, who is a bad sportsman and other general naming and shaming questions.

Note there is not a "right to free speach" on the forum. The funysnooker staff is run by volunteers who give their free time to try and assist users and attempt to make funkysnooker an environment that can be enjoyed and relaxed in. The staff have to act neutral and act as judge jury and executioner, it's a tricky unrewarded job as it is so I will not allow specific actions to be questioned on the forum.

If you do have a complaint or query about a moderator or moderating decision then please use the correct channels (ie through the help centre) where it will be dealt with. Breaking forum rules to ask a question can only lead to your posting ability being revoked.
