Won't be playing until the weekend lads, This goes for Killer as well (sorry) but swamped with Excel work for Pool (Would be easy without a Golden Cue). Excel takes priority at this time over my Snooker duties (and Killer) and will be coding for a minimum of two weeks (possibly three weeks max) without help. As i will be coding next week as well, i'll only be logging on to play matches when opponents are free.

No effort is an Auto DQ

Pinched this from Keith on Pool but the thing i'm talking about with Active vs Inactive.

No clan should feel forced to sub out an active player, any default will be done based on genuine effort throughout the fixture period. Being online is not classed as effort, messaging and making effort to arrange a suitable date and time is. If players choose to not bother messaging for the first week it would go against both players in default as you have lost a lot of the available time to play the game. If a team has put an inactive player in a game please make sure that as the active player you message the player and do this every 3 or 4 days of the fixture as it will help your cause for default.

So in essence if your opponent has messed you around and you put effort in then you don't have to sub but that is up to the Captains involved. Being on each day and not making effort shows Laziness so can be as bad as not being online. Effort is what gets matches played in the League.

Also "Can you play now" doesn't count as you need to provide days and times you can play then work around them. "Can you play now" doesn't really provide anything to effort.

I give credit to Dead Meat as in the Cup game they could have defaulted and i wouldn't argue. If situation warrants it then Clans shouldn't be afraid to default it if necessary as you shouldn't really lose points, If your player made the effort to play.

Hopefully all this makes sense but can pm me offline too.

Et was only free today out of the fixture so i asked Rich about a Swap and said up to me. and while sensible thing would be refuse and force et out of the match but feel it makes sense to have as many originals playing as possible.

Arc i broke which is 4/5 times a frame loser and proved to be as needed 2 snookers and fluked the last red when i didn't intend it.

Reg i left 1 red from a loose safety (under powered in baulk) and he made a Max!

Orig i had chances but the 147 surprised me (won't lie) so had 2 or 3 bad misses. I had a stroke of luck, 42 behind, 43 left, missed Red and left them safe and brought black in play followed by bad luck of a Snook Safety from him which was fractions, During the frame at my first decent chance i potted with backspin and white went in middle (didn't see it)

Carom, i won lag (wooo) and made a 2 run, He then made a 10 run in his next visit.

Power, he broke and messed up, i didn't play great in my rack either, on his turn he missed a sitter and i got a 123 to win it.

Had a bit of bad luck in Power/Orig but you just have to have a laugh and not be angry about it. He was by far the superior player, Well Played Mate

At best i could only have a 3-2 loss in those so not all bad and won 50% of frames i could have won.

Me and Mighty have spoke, See Carsten on most evenings so no issues and played Et ()
