To me, if you lose by a fluke, then saying ''ul'' is warranted, but if you play really bad, and they say ggs ul, seems insulting to me.

I rather someone be honest and say I played BAD then make out I was ul.

Not having a dig at anyone in particular, just seems weird to me.

Simply being polite and trying not to offend. I'd probably just say you were playing S%^t in future Cam :)

If i say gg ul its simply because you didnt get a shot

So unlucky not to get any chance to prove yourself.

If i fluke and someone moans or abuse i just remove haha (jokes)

Personally I think gg(s) is more a showing of appreciation for the game(s)
Saying ul is a tad more complex
It can be appropriate to the way the game played out.
Playing badly can be 'not having much luck with your aim' lol

its just being polite and maybe they dont actually know your play level , a shot to them could luck unlucky to them but to you know is was a bad miss

I suppose you could put this post in the same ballpark as someone saying "sry" for a fluke snooker or pot and most of us reply with "no prob" etc but inside were screaming " you lucky thing at the screen. lol.just boils down to manners, pure and simple manners
