i applied to be a moderator and used contact us and it said tht i shud hav a reply within 6 weeks but i haven't

Why didn't you just ask via contact us? personally, i think this thread will decrease your chances, after all funkysnooker appeals for all personal queries to be send via contact us

Give it a go and see? I don't think the applications have been passed on yet. You'll just have to bide your time

Mate make sure that you aren't using a hotmail account for your moderating application.

These things take time, there might be a lot more applicants than you think, so they need to go through all of them, just bide your time, they should get back to all applicants.

dude i didnt get a reply and i applied in november

I'm catching up on them now, have about 200 emails so will take a few days. Unfortunately other priorities sometimes come before this work - ideally we'd have sufficient staff to cover such shortages but this isn't in place now.

I'd say just be patient, i think it would be worse to get a really fast half-effort response just so he can whip through emails so that people don't complain. i'd rather he took his time to actually read the emails proper and think about it ... patience is a virtue

This situation will be solved shortly
