OOUUUCCCHHHHHH..... What if it's during a tournament and you want them to be gone? Or an opponent is booted (bad language or whatever) and the time runs out?

I think its because if they are on a high break, they can still get a half century or century, so the break still counts.

i was on for a easy 75 plus break and (name removed) left the room while i was on 48 a break.i know it was only in a friendly but just thought i would mention it.

how about, you carn't leave a game at all?... except for boot's or you get logged off ( like i have been recently )
1. it makes the profile look un-tidy due to people leaving.
2. there would be NO one complaining due to people ruining high break's ( for friendlies only now obv.)
3. it would be alot better to finish a full game EVERY game

i think the person should be able to leave but you can continue your go until you miss this way you don't end the break because they leave

i really do think you shouldn't be able to leave, maybe if you want to the other player has to click a box to accept ( like the rack box ), so then there carn't be any complaints becaue you gave him/her permision to leave.

i think that it would be easier to just lock the game room's altogether though but people will disagree, i find it very rare to finish a full game against adepts or inter's due to them leaving when i start a high break ect.

but what if you all of a sudden need to leave like if your at work then your boss tells you to do something... i don't think a lock would be appropriate but a thing where you choose if they can leave is good

i just was on a 52 and about to take the next shot and he left and nothing happened it was in a ranked game aswell whats the deal wiv that?

or does that still happend if you totally get rid of the page?

Erm...Not sure if this should be on this topic, but anyway. I've looked at your results, and the only game you played today is after when you posted saying that. And even results yesterday, I don't see anywhere that you won the game and lost points.

ive played about 7 games today but neway beaet him a little while after and got my rating back must of been a glitch or something because im not real sure if i actually lost it i just saw -5.__ to me so must of been a glitch....

You can't leave the room but you can log out by closing the game window. This is much more inconvenient and shows you the severity of the action. Closing could also disqualify you from tournaments.

Of course this is far from a complete solution.

Also in some occasions the browser will fail to log them out giving you 3 minutes extra.

Yes, you can't leave games even for a tournament invite. If you're waiting for a tournament you should not be playing other competitive games.

Friendlies are excluded because they are informal games. If you want some insurance your opponent can't leave you need to ensure you play a ranked game.

fair comment, but i still think thst you houldn't be able to leave any game to be honest.

i find it very rare to finish a game in tournaments because in the first two three round's i play newbies and they leave after a few good pot's, i just find it un-nessacary for that to happen.

Wish I'd read that right. I though it meant you COULDN'T leave a game. i tested it out and lost 13 odd points !!

..not to mention the severity of your actions being recorded!
