was just playing a min ago, went to take my shot, an announcement came up saying good night funkysnooker! with that my game just crashed and lost 9 points lol. can anyone tell me how this happened

oh gosh!! this is apparently my fault ryoung, it was my first day on the moderating job and i was giddy like a little school girl, but reluctently had to leave.... so i said good night funky snooker!! i'm real real sorry about it. no more random announcements for me *bows head in shame*

no worries, im not gonna play anymore now, i cant be bothered with it so im quitting so no hard feelings ha lol. im not gonna leave my stats and all that like most players do cuz nobody cares lol c ya boys n girls ;)

OK I don't know how the game works, but I don't see how you, _brighteyes_, making an announcement (random or otherwise) could crash ryoung's game. I saw you on your first day as mod and I thought your announcements and comments were like a breath of fresh air. Don't stop, it's fun.

Announcements don't effect the game what so ever.

Could be that the applet stopped responding or your internet connection was failing.

Lol.. very strange but a moderator's announcement couldn't make your game crash maybe it was just a teporary lagg by your system. all ok now though isnt it.

lol i wish it was me who said that, thats quite clever. unfortunately the people in charge of my mod-ing don't find the annoucements nice. and many users end up complaining.

On checking up, I find it was Douglas Bader, British wartime ace fighter pilot who made that "Rules" quote. I have no doubt that others have said it since, many times.
