i no its been sed bu plz make this appen can we have somthin 2 turn off the comment box as 2day i had comments comin in off (wnt say his name) about how weak i am an how hard he is all becoz i didnt speak so 4 about 5 minutes i had to accept this i complain and something was done yay !! just sayin plz enforce this

sorry, i just realized i ever answered your question.

as it has been said before, there are many ways of not being distracted by chatting in the main chat box. you can lower your screen so that the chat box is lowered under the tool bar at the bottom of your screen. you can also just not look at the box. or you can put your opponent on ignore while playing them.

i think with all of these options there is no need for an option to turn off the chat all together.

i alway's put my opponent's on ignore, unless i know them.

i find that lowering my screen is worse for me ( i don't know why... alway's been wierd ), and how can you not look at the chat box?... if your opponent keep's typing it's bound to ctch your attention unless it's just me

well i dont' think lowering your screen really affects your game play.

and if a persons typing really puts you off that much, i'm worried.

its quite easy to concentrate on your shots, unless you have severe attention defecit disorder or you have dodgy eyes or something.

its just my opinion i guess, but i don't think people should blame dodgy playing on their opponent talking. there are always ways around it, and if not you contact a mod/admin
