A new type of snooker could be made. Snooker plus. Instead of just yellow, green, brown, blue etc there could be an additional orange and purple. Orange worth nine and purple worth ten. This would help with break building and would also make gamplay slightly easier because there would be a better selection after potting the red. The table would be the same size as the original snooker just with more points up for grabs.

1- If in a real game there is no orange or purple, why should there be them on here, people don't even use them to pracitce in real snooker.

2- Where would they be placed on the table

3- It would probably end up with a majority of games ending on 1 break. Due to the high score of one ball and the bigger availability of balls to hit, it would probably take a miss-hit shot to miss.

no offence but i do think this is a bad idea, i would like to see an integrated version of original and arcade. so there would be 147 points available (15 reds) but it would be more like arcade snooker. thoughts?

That's what I was thinking about a while ago boz_lad, as 107s are becoming 'regular' now it would give people who have already reached that a new target. So yeah, good idea!

the orange n purple would go between:

orange between pink n blue
purple between blue n brown

pointless it wouldn't be snooker with funny coloured balls flying around - this isnt pool! I like it how it is - although I do like the idea of an integrated table a lot

i also like the idea and think that it would be more of a challenge with a possible 147

i dunno bout u guys but i think that snooker plus would be an ok idea for premium, just a mini game or something

Personally I don't like the idea of having 8 colored balls. It would be too different from snooker.
But anyway, if such a version was to be done, I'd just not play it, and I'd let the others have fun with it

have u seen snooker plus on playstation games it is pretty gd and is not as easy as u think

I never owned a playstation, and never heard of this snooker plus game. But it's not difficult to imagine it: a normal snooker table + 2 balls. That doesn't change my opinion: I'm not interested.

I never said it's easy, I just said it would be way too different from real snooker to interest me.

And, I'm not sure that "people like spursjay" (what does it mean at all ? am I also "like spursjay" ?) will enjoy this idea. At least, I don't even feel concerned by such a "challenge".


Anyway, that's only my personal opinion, I won't repeat myself 10 times If others enjoy it, they can have all the fun they want with it.

At the moment, the 'people like spursjay' (on normal snooker) alread have a challenge...To reach 147!

it sounds like some cheap American idea. dont like it at all

snooker plus is an actual game in real lyf. not many people no dat and the orange is worh 8 and the purple 10 (195 possible). howeva i fink it wud b a rubbish idea to have it. its jus not the same and it makes the game more complicated.

changing the rules of snooker... how very dare you!!!!!
