what about remeove the edge modification ?

only for like 1 day a month? i think it would be interesting to see if anybody could make the 1000? or slighy reduce the modification for 1 day a month just a thought?

I'm afraid it's a bad idea. This site has a complete and complex ranking calculation system, and edge modification is an important part of it. In this system, users have rankings between 500 and 1000.
You are asking to change the whole ranking system of this site, and I think the admins won't agree.
Anyway, if edge modification was to be removed, I'm sure many people could reach 1000 quite easily.
