i have just seen this on the home page

....but i thought you had to download java for snooker/pool to work??

surely this is false advertising in a sense? unless ive completely no idea what im talking about...

It's possible that you have already installed a jre (java runtime environment) because it was needed for another website/program, and you just don't remember.

And this games really requires a jre to work, so if you can play, there is a jre running on your computer, that's for sure.

the "no installations required" is referring to the fact that it is not a program that needs to be installed on your pc to run. It is true that you do need java, but most people have java previously installed on their computers.
