Is it just me or when maximum side spin is applied to the white it doesnt make a lot of difference to what angle it comes off at from a cushion.Surely applying maximum side spin would make a significant difference to the angle when coming off a cushion?

Coming of the cusion? I find it does, I don't think it has the same novelty amplitude of the top and back spin though.

The more straight the shot (when striking the object ball) the less effect side has.

I agree it does have some affect , but not enough as it should do.Even applying the greatest side spin possible i still doesnt have much affect, does anyone agree?

I agree dansta. Never noticed before, but just tried it out.

On a real table it is perfectly possible to place the white close to the yellow (or green) and with appropriate side, just miss the triagle and come off the cushion to hit the black.

Cant come close to that on here.

Ive noticed the same thing, but i found the solution, just add i tiny bit of top or bottom spin onto your desired side spin and you will notice a great improvement in the reaction

i find it realistic. and wen u are snookered and using side spin it helps a lot. the slower u hit it the more it takes affect. it works for me and allows u to position perfectly
