great idea dude, feel sorry for who ever has to design the game, with all these rules they could be there for a while, and to get it right... that would be an achievement lol

Nice idea, I quite fancy learning to play billiards; never tried it. However, I have one reservation, that of the number of players available for games.

Every so often there is a thread saying 'why don't more people play orig snooker?' or something similar. People complain that there are often no orig games to join, and nobody joins them if they set up their own game. If we have a third option (snooker, arcade AND billiards) that will spread the number of available players even more thinly. The orig fans who haven't got many people to play against, will have even fewer.

thats a point. i dont see why original is so unpopular. i can only think that it is because it is harder. i think it is a better challenge but a good computer is needed to be good.

i dont think a good computer is needed, its just that its a lot harder and people feel more comfortable on arcade as it is a lot easier to play and get high breaks on it

ye but you need a good computer or else you cannot play original well as i found out. if you are good at it ou enjoy it more

ill have to go on a crap computer and see if i can tell the difference

or arcade for that matter, i can only play on my laptop which unfortunately is broken atm

ive never played billiards before and think it would be a great idea. my only worry is that after the novelty has worn off it may end up like the pro games on pool
