I agree with Ronni on this one, but I also see where magic_man is coming from. Would it be possible to have to ways of playing it. So when you create a doubles game you either make it:

Arcade Snooker Doubles (Alternate Shot)
or
Arcade Snooker Doubles (Break Each)

Not sure if this would take a lot longer, or wether Nick would just need to copy the code for one and change that bit for the other type.

If this doesn't make sense just say and I will try and explain it better!



How would you work it so the teams would be fair? Personally I would prefer to be a 750 playing with a mate that is a 600 against to 900's and get beaten than play with someone I don't know and win.

Personaly the only time I would play Doubles would be if I was playing on the same team as a mate on here.

when you enter a game though how would it know which players are pairing up.

good point...im stuck in 3 minds (not 2) at the moment...im not sure if billiards, trick shots or doubles will be best to liven funkysnooker up

how about 1 player from each pair enters the room and then invites their partner to join them... and the game will recognise who they invited and pair up with them...how about that then???

i think having two ways is a good idea. I reckon there should maybe be a doubles tourney once a day completely random partners and that should be alternate shots. Ronnie, yes it may be quite annoying if i pot a superb red and get on black perfectly and my partner misses it but that is what is gonna make this doubles lark more fun. if youre gonna get annoyed with your partner if he misses then you shouldnt be playing doubles...

I think doubles would just be more fun than singles, if u get anoyed, then like poo_cue said just simply dont play it! Its the fun factor that you should think about

well i think der shud b specific doubles pairs hu every1 chooses der selfs n ranks for does specific pairs. n can hav frendlys wiv any doubles pair agree?
