well my question is the title basically... but i think it would make things easier if every mod could moderate every type of forum...would make it easier

Well, the reason we are split up into sections i think is so we can concentrate on our section. sometimes its hard to moderate a thread when you just randomnly jump in and haven't been reading it as its been going. so, we split up into sections to concentrate on our section and to be sure everything's going right there.

we've spoken about making it so that we can moderate every thread, but usually our current system works out pretty well. we'll have to see how it turns out in the future

i think that moderating every forum wouldn't work, just think the amount of threads there are to be looked at, it would get to much especially if there is only one or two mods online for say 2-3 days it can get a little hectic!. It run's smoothly the way it is, the job gets done quickly and sufficiantly so IMO there is no problem the way it is.
