Since the continue break function ive notices that more and more games are now being left prematurely. Even though now you can carry on the break once the opponent has left i still dont like getting a good break then being told i won by default has anybody else seen the increase in left games and is there a punishment for this?

I always have to suddenly leave a game :( check out my stats. but i have twin boys to look after. and that requires me to jump off immediately.

i dont have a problem with that but sometimes its blatently because your on a high break or cos there gonna lose.

If you look at my stats mine arnt the greatest but most are through dodgy connection and playing friendlies before tournaments!

I'm not leaving games on purpose. It is my Internet connection with sky keep resetting itself.

I notice that a large number of tourney matches end when 'player x left the room'. Is this becoming de facto an accepted way of conceding? Seems a bit impolite to me just to leave.

If this is the way things are going, it seems to me to be a backwards step in game etiquette. One of the nice things about snooker is the courteous and polite way most players conduct themselves.

I would say if the other person is clearly going to win, the least you can do is to wait for an appropriate moment and hit the flag. Far nicer and more gentlemanly (or gentlewomanly if that is a word).

Or perhaps I'm just being old-fshioned about it?

Something that has been mentioned before would be to have the concede button avaliable all the time.

Add a confirmation box so you cant click it and lose by accident and that should cover it?

so your saying concede but the other plaer can still carry on?!

i believe that would increase cheating alot spinner i think the concede system is fine personally

so how can we stop people leaving games? theres got to be some sort of punishent!
