i have a very ineresting query. the new tourney feature is supposed to give a deafult win IF 12 points worth of snookers are needed. but from my past game, it does it if your only 12 points behind needing snookers.

i was 13 points behind milsonio with the black left... if im right that is 6 points in snookers needed, yet it said Default Win. i didnt need over 12 points of snookers, so the new feature is dodgy.

was it worth playing for the snooker with one ball left ? lol

that isnt the point. the feature is dodgy is what im trying to say. anyway, milsonio could've fouled, but then went on to win the tourney.

Playing for a snooker with just the black left isnt justified gavin. I never did it, Ive never seen any other here do it and most importantly Ive never seen a professional snooker player do it.

Feature is fine I think. Greatly reduces the possibility of a double DQ.

I have one small problem with this feature.

When you have cleared up it isnt a default win. however it says it is. if you clear up and theres no balls left on the table it isnt a default win.

the point is it gave a default win when 6 points from snookers were needed instead of 12, plus there was still like 15 mins left of the round so i wasnt trying to time mils out.

yup Gav you are right, however it would have been more interesting if the pink and black were left and you were 25 behind with 13 left on.. its bound to come up eventually i guess.

We must remember that the reason this has been brought in is becase of the members that used to abuse the system before this was introduced.

Also I'm not sure if the bug will be fixed as the messing about that needs to be done is probably too much for what it is worth imo!

I get your point Gav (also got your shouting), what Im saying is that this event is only going to happen on the last colours e.g. in your case the black and in Sams example the pink+black.

Ok in Sams example its a viable argument for a review on the 12 point rule but not if there is only the black left, its not acceptable to attempt a snooker on a black.

Well I know Nick said the 12 point rule could be moved upwards to 16+ if necessary.

There's a problem, this seems to happen if there's a ball pocketed illegally the shot before, will look into it.

Gav, Im trying to figure out which circumstances leads to this problem. Obviously something different occurs out of the norm for this to occur (Nick has pinpointed the problem).

What I was saying, that perhaps this "problem" just happened if the black was left. As we have no other cases of this happening
