Never really expected a win, though I didn't in the Quater or Semi Finals either. Mind you, giving them their first 6 points didn't exactly help.

they was favourites from the start after beating us in last 4 meetings and we didnt play as well as we have done before

Every point both sides were given by the other team. They played well but made some foolish mistakes.

I think that was still a TRY england got though, They had it in for us!

Did anyone else think the game was boring in the end? I mean it was suppose to be the world cup final for god's sake and SA won it with penalties.
Not that we've come to expect this when all the union boys do is bang penalties over and kick all game long

I'm sure the Rugby League world cup will prove far more entertainment to the viewers then this shambles of a final!
