Even though Im a Liverpool supporter I have to mention how good Arsene Wenger is. In my opinion he is one of the best managers ever to grace English football. Look who he has turned from nobodies into world class footballers.

Henry, Pires, Cole, Vieira, Fabregas, Adebayour, Van Persie, Hleb.....etc etc. He buys players for pittance and makes great players from them.

In my opinion he is the ultimate manager that all managers should try and emulate. He is underated by the English media who never give him the praise he deserves.

Arsene Wenger, I salute you.

Do i or don't i?

Well to be honest i would put him up there with the likes of Ferguson, Bianchi, Clough, Happel, Ancelotti, rinus michels (named coach of the century by FIFA).

So as much as i hate arsenal, I personally do actually like Wenger because of his style of play, and bcause of what he does to youngsters ect. he is just a great manager and could be one of the best (never be better than fergie though)

I do like the way Wenger goes about his business. Like it's being mentioned above the way he's bought a cheap team and turned them into ( at this time ) premiership winners he has to be given credit for that. The only cause for concern is the lack of english players he acquires, (Theo Walcott to name is the only one i know that holds a regular place there). It's not doing the national team any good because of the overseas players taking young english players spots but a lot of teams in the prem have lots of foreigners so we cannot just blame Arsenal and Wenger.

A long server of the game and overall he needs more recognition then he gets.

obviously a legend, but his team of nobodies to brilliant players have never won anything in europe. dose this mean a new strategy is needed for european football

They may not have won any European competitions but they've had their fair share of English ones. And have come very close to European success. As well as a 49 game unbeaten run.

He deserves all the respect he gets and more, certainly more than the likes of Mourniho, who after winning a couple of trophies with Chelsea having been given hundreds of millions of pounds to spend was labeled by some as the best of his kind around. Whereas Wenger looks for the youthful players who havn't yet been noticed, and in such a short space of time turns them into greats. Take Fabregas for example, in his first season in the frame (last season) he was already being thought of as one of the best in the league by the end, yet was almost unheard of before Arsne bought him.

The manager who deserves to be rated a lot more highly than he already is
