Yep i'll have to agree with this one numerous times have i started speaking to a friend and not here them reply just to open them 5 minutes later with them either logged out or closed the window.

well youu know what i mean the crying baby was just an example (I couldnt think of anything else lol)... and i also thought that you could have a 'custom' tone to upload like a wav file below 25kb because of the 25kb limit it would have to be wav file because they are short clips with high quality sound but yet only has a low filesize

I like the idea of different sounds for messages etc, but i don't like the idea of members being able to download their own, obvious place for people to abuse imo.

yea but you could do it where the moderators or admins could listen to it to see if its aproprioate like the pictures

What problem would it cause? Other people (except for those in the area around your computer) wouldn't be able to hear the noise that is being made and therefore what abuse could be used for it that could affect other users?

I would personally like to have a change of the pm alerts. Just now I'd say it sounds like a barking dog.

loving the ideas fellas i must admit id love for the msn orange pop up theme to be implanted rather than popping up when taking a shot can be rather annoying when taking a shot.

Well copyright would be one thing. If the sounds are being uploaded to funkysnooker server then we would have to own copyright. Pretty much the same scenario as the pictures.

This is a good idea, but I think a single sound (or maybe a pick of 4 sounds) would be more likely to be introduced.

Yeah i like the ida, Just i have to agree with Ray with the 'upload your own song' idea, Yeah ok no one else will be able to hear the sound that you have uploaded, But like Ray has already pointed out we would need copyright.

So just stick with the 'choice of 4', Maybe have an ordinary sound (MSN tone), Maybe a passing car, Door bell and maybe a voice just to make it a little more adventurous, Like someone saying 'OI you have a messgae' .

I doubt they would be the 'four choices' but they are ideas, So i think it would be good if people could maybe leave there 4 choices and the 4 that come up the most will be used (if this get's implemented) so.. here's mine:

MSN tone
Passing car
Door bell
customized tone (Nick will be the one that customizes it not us BTW lol)

Nice idea. I would agree and would be happy with just a default 'funkysnooker' sound. Although I don't often use sound when playing a game to hear the sounds of the balls, I'm always receiving invites to play from friends e.t.c. , this would be helpful indeed espeically when i'm busy.
