They're a disgrace, the useless bunch of over-rated players were given the chance by Israel but they couldn't take it! They should have won this group a long time ago but they didn't do it. A disgrace.

Look on the bright side. Mclaren getting the boot is proberbly the best result we can get.

The way they played today, i couldn't see them getting any further anyway.

Yep, there's one good thing that's going to come out of it, he can't stay. Should never have been hired in the first place so is finally going where he deserves.

Quite frankly im dissapointed im in fact devastated but as for McClaren il get to that. But first the players...



World Class players no matter waht anyone says these players are "world class". So why an earth do "world class" players believe it fit that they can stroll through ANY international game is ludacris. The team showed no spirit no commitment and no heart. They have let The manager the fans and most importantly the team down!

McClaren... Where do I start ? Shaun wright phillips was the wrong man for the job today, he brought beckham back into the team just to play second fiddle, we needed a job done (which beckham can do perfectly) today and to be honest wright phillips had a few good moments but not enough thus not doing the job. One upfront ? when the very thing we need is goals!? I mean it doesnt take a genius to play 4-4-2 at home to win the game. Packing the midfield was NOT the right decision to do by far as it clearly showed when he changed it in the second half.

Now onto Croatia... They out played us, not only on the pitch but in the mind aswell, their mind set was to win the game even though they were already through. As for the first goal... things like that happen but twice ? by the same team ? now thats what I call luck. 2nd Goal great play deserved and as for the third well no keeper could have saved that.

At the end of the day its in the hands of the FA from now hopefully they make the right decision regarding the manger.

the defense was simple AVERAGE and also i dont want to get into it all because i am very annoyed but we dont have good players there all average

i just sat for an hour in silence - no joke, still absolutely gutted with the performance and with the manager, dropping becks when crouchee is on in them conditions was a mistake!!

The biggest Mistake was dropping Robbo who he has stuck with for the last 7 games when under threat, to then drop him in them conditions and put in Scott Carson whos a very promising goalkepper was not on!

He was asking for trouble and i just hope it doesnt scar scot for life as he will be one of the best if not for Liverpool but whoever he plays for. But to put a rookie in goal in this situation was wrong.

Then we get it back to 2-2 and we just start strolling around again, like we think we are different class.

This is both the players and the ex- managers fault and we need to learn that we aren't as good as we think!

It goes further back then sacking McClaren though.
We need to put a cap on foreigners in the premiership, it should be a limit to 4 or 5 in a fully named squad (including subs). Yesterday a number of only 6 players in the England team were playing regular football in their squads.
Next, there needs to be a more developing academies for young players to encourage young English talent.
Players who are in the England squad should be taught inuition and imagination aswell as attacking minded play.
The Next manager should be someone who is strong minded and capable of bringing success - Pearce or Capello who is proven at the highest level.

The whole England set-up needs a proper shake-up now , so many Croatia have given us a blessing in disguise!

I think we have the players to be fair just not the right system, manager, commitment and teamwork required!

Carson in goal, as much as he is a good goalkeeper, you can't bring him in for his first competitive game in those conditions in a game that meant so much, he was obviously going to be nervous, and that showed.

Crouch, he had a great game, but like has been said, you can't play 4-5-1, especially when the striker is Crouch, he's a player that will get the flick on and put someone through, but that wasn't down as he was alone.

Beckham should have started, never should have been dropped from the start, one of the biggest mistakes of Mclaren's short career as England boss.

Well at least he's gone now, don't know what I'm gonna watch next summer though!
