i was just thinking a bit like msn when your pm box is in a tab at the bottem of your screen, when you get a message it could change to orange untill you open it and read what it says
and also if someone pms you and you having got a conversation running with them a orange tab could aprear at the bottem instead of it popping onto the screen

what are your thoughts??

Msn is coded in a whole different way. Java is very technichal.

Weather or not this is possible i'm unsure off thats why the little bleeping sound was introduced for kind of like a substitute. However its not quite the same.

excellent idea a blip or an orange tab instead of it popping up would cut out alot of cheaters doing it when ure on a 10sec timer and on black

there is nothing more annoying than getting a pm when your on a critical shot, therefore i agree with the idea. However, we dont just want to copy of msn so we would need another way around this.

A PM box on the game window.
It will flash a color click it and pm's will come up?

(A client will go nicely with that)

(it wont be a copy of msn then because msn is a pop up)

Ok heres my idea

Instead of "copying" msn why dont why have it so that the PM box does not pop up during a game and insted of the sound that is already there and have the sound of a break shot ? Or something along those lines ?


And as for the flashing at the bottom the best way to go about it is have the window flashing this way you can see if anyone has attempted to talk to without them losing interest.

orange: You got a new message
blue: you don't have a new message
