Just thought maybe Game Queries could be split up.

Currently it is where people post both their questions about the game and their suggestions. So I thought maybe Game queries could be split up a big. And instead of a 'Game Queries' forum there were 'Game Questions' and 'Game Suggestions' sections to the forum.

Pretty obvious which would go in each.

I also thought maybe that if this were to be introduced, in the questions forum maybe there could be something that's basically the equivalent of the 'author' of the topic capping the thread once the question has been answered. Thus showing that they now understand the matter in question and to stop people posting either off topic stuff on them or repeating an answer that has already been given.

Thoughts?

i like the second part of the post more- i think that is a great idea.
That way after a tournament you host in pool or snooker events forum finishes you could cap the thread and nobody would be able to post 6 months after its finished asking to join.

I believe thread should stay open for the whole 6 months, therefore new users can question something they may not fully understand.

Or the answer may change, depending on who is giving input, thus gving more up to date opinions.

I think thats mods will disagree and members will agree on that second suggestion, allthough the 1s sounds good to me

i like the idea of game queries being split up but i disagree with the capping thing.

I like the idea of having a seperate forum, good idea...But personally I do not agree with the idea of the 'author' capping the thread, sorry. Like your first idea though!
