i no about the thread below but wot about voice chat?
it gets annoying typing everything, especially between shots, it doesn't leave you a lot of time to take your shot, before anyone says anything, i know you can change the shot timer, but most people play 20 seconds, when you join a game that is, i play 30 which gives you enough time usually. i cant see this bringing lag as used to do it on msn all the time. i would love this idea as u can then have proper conversations,
the suggestion that comes with this could be maybe 500 games played minimum as a lot of new players get offensive and try to put you off, but the more mature player never does it.
what you guys/girls think

to be honest i think voice chat would be hard to program into the game and plus people could try and use it to put you off like screaming during your shot

or maybe have an option to mute them? so u can still here the balls for instance

I agree with the idea of the voice as long as it isn't compulsary and the voice is realistic aka not like a robot

A feature like this would have quite an effect on the game lag-wise. Voice chat requires shifting a lot of data.

Why not try chatting to your mates via MSN while playing, this will give a small idea of the effect it could have. (obviously if you're on a powerful computer with a 16meg broadband connection, you will be fine!)

The biggest problem with this though is that there would be no way to moderate voice chat.

ooo right, sorry y fault for not reading it properly, but i could just see myself on the blac for a max, when somebody shouts out BOO!! so i'd have to pass on the idea...

I like the idear but how about video call's aswell cas loads of people have cameras for there pc so they might want to use them on here, i would like them both but the only problem it will cause i think it will be lagg but overall i like the idea and my idear
