It ceases to become a valid thread and always deteriorates into slanging matches and people wondering off the point of the thread. Then there becomes the ethos of "i'd best put his name down because he put mine and oh he's my best m8". So people end up getting a mention when clearly they shouldn't. Just to finish this moan off look at this thread when was the last time a post was made regarding the title.
Point proven i think best player and top 10 threads are useless and only serve to create bad feeling among the players.

Please keep all threads relevant to the title, or at least using it for its purpose. Otherwise they will be capped, thus making the forums messy, and harder to use.

I need not remind of the posting rules, as most of you know we do not tolerate any offensive or abusive behaviour.

Sorry mate but they aren't a waste of time. People like to discuss about who they think are the best players on the game. If mates start voting each other so what? It's only a bit of harmless fun. Everyone else seems to like them. And they don't create a bad feeling amost players. People may disagree with choices but that's the point of the thread.
