It gets really annoying when you come so far in tournaments to lose to flukes or people breaking and clearing. So I was wondering, the "rounds" are first to 1 and the semi final and final is first to 2. Quarter finals aren't a "round" so how come their not first to 2?

Your thoughts?

and isn't it first to 2 in the marathon's anyway? because wouldn't that make it more like the marathon?

No not really no, I think making them to two frames at the quarter's would be better, As like you say i have lost on flukes on a few occasions and it can get annoying, But then again it could make the tournament drag a little bit.

What a waste of time basically getting to the quarters then losing without getting a shot. Annoys me that does. Good idea id say!
