I thought it would be good if in tournaments, the draw was done my your current rankings, so Kaison would be Rank 1, and would not play Rank 2 until the final. Any thoughts?

Well i think that the majority of tournaments are won by virtuoso's so helping them even further would get other peoples backs up, infact some are asking for hadicaps in tournaments to aid the lesser ranked players on the game and give them a better chance.

My view is that i like them how they are - almost like the fa cup in which anybody can play anyone, also theres a problem of how to determine who's the 1st seed, should it be on rank or breaks etc...

Yeah I guess. Or maybe have a weekly tournament for people under 900, or a tournament which allows less established players to compete. Should have a different title though, because obviously it is not the same as winning the real thing. I'm gutted the only tourny final I've been in I had Kaison, lost 2-1!

You will get people purposely putting their rank below 900 and competing in the tourny's when they obviuosly are a 900+ player.

Absolutely correct. Unestablished players can spend a bit more time learning and can be as good as virtuosos and even win the tourny's.

What i'll suggest is we can have tournies in which people can even earn points ?? how about that,, i mean like a ranked tourny.

Yeah but if you are 900 and newbie then the player who you are playing could feel wierd thinking their playing a newbie and their getting centuries all the time.

I think tournaments are good the way they are.
That's the point of the tournament: for the best to win. It's the way tournaments work in every sport.
I don't understand what's the point of setting up matches in a tournament, or setting up tournaments by rank so you can make low ranks win.. Would these tournaments be considered as not really worthy?

ive thought about this before and a while ago i was in the same tournament each day and sean_paul and me were drawn against each other for about 5 days in a row.

I thought it might already has some ranking system in place.
