how come when you're potting a colour after potting a red you cant hit 1 colour into another to pot?

coz its not in the rules.

you never see the pro's do it they pic a colour and have to pot the colour they hit first they can only knock one ball in after hitting another on the red ball .

i know that, i was just wondering why you aren't allowed.

Snooker rules says its not allowed, if u wish to do this then i suggest u play 9 ball pool instead
