Congrats to Joe. Great fight, well deserved...


One thing that does bother me tho,

the ref was same as ricky hatton's yet he allowed hopkins to dish out the dirty stuff from the first bell to the last. How was that allowed?

to be fair, the ref was right in letting hopkins fight on the inside, before you say i know he didn't let hatton do that and was wrong for doing so, but he was criticised and he changed his refereeing style, ok it looked like he was bist as he said no to Hatton but yes to Hopkins, but... Calzaghe still came away with his 0 in tact!!.

It was a fantastic fight and to come back from a start like that against a talented boxer like Hopkins was great.

next and possibly his last fight, who do yo think he will fight?, looks odds on to be roy jones, but i wouldn't write of a rematch between the Hopkins and Calzaghe at the Millenium stadium.

1 thing that anoys me about refs in any sport is inconsistency, they need to make their mind up whichever way it may be, strict or unstrict.

I didn't see the fight but im delighted for Joe hes been brilliant all his carreer and had fights against the best and come out on top. Something that can't be said for Amir Kahn.
