I think a "big club" is decided more on the fan base than where they reside in the PL table. St James Park is nearly always full.

In that case I think Newcastle would certainly be in the top 7 or so teams.

if they buy the right players next year

got to admit that liverpool are the most entertaining team to watch but they do have to invest in another great striker possibly sergio aguero from atletico madrid or vagner love from cska moscow and a sub goalkeeper that can play in net maybe another centre back with hyypia aging and agger injury prone

only if this happens they will be proper challengers
