some players are over rated and under rated so why not have pot success percentage to show there true skill?

Nah disagree. People that are over rated get seen sooner or later and the under rated ones work their way through so no point IMO.

Also the pot success rate is only calculated when you attempted a shot. How is the game meant to know if you took a shot or not?

But on that basis every shot is an attempt at a pot!


What about when you are playing a safety shot?

I'm guessing by this you mean how many pots per shot? (If not, then please correct me). But what if someone wants to play a safety shot? Then their pot success would go down because they didn't aim for a pot?

No way. That wouldnt work at all cymmer. Think of the time limit per shot, plus people abusing this system to keep their percentage up.

Also, people could click safety every time in case they miss.

And fireball, you're saying that it should still make your percentage go down. But what if there isn't a pot on? Then you need to go to safety, but your pot success goes down.

Not that fair is it?

why dont you do like a world chapionship like at the minuite and play lots of frames over a certain amount of time, then you can use the pot percentage for the match statistics.

fireball how is fair?, what about the people who like to play safety aswell, that means everytime they take a shot it's classes as an attempted pot shot.

This idea wont work at all. The statistic works in real life because officials came determine whether or not the player was attempting a pot... but there is no referee or commentary team on a funky match is there?!?!

How would you calculate shot percentage?even a super computer wouldnt know when someone was either attempting a pot or jus playin safe? so how would this work?
