I know its late, in fact, very late, and wouldn't be surprised if this got capped. But just wondering, why was this update ever made?



If anything its made breaking harder and more annoying.

Yeah it got reduced because it was getting to easy for people braking and clearing!

It shows skill if you can clear, but to pot off the break, whilst requiring some degree to knowledge of where to hit the rack, is a mostly matter of brute force and luck.

The power was reduced to help prevent the tendency for people to blast the break since they were almost bound to sink a red.

yeah i agree.

Also i think its better off reduced because you would probably pot 2 or more balls of the brake and it would be hard to get a century.

So its fine as it is for me.

i think we need abit more power on original tho as the table is bigger and its the same power as arcade

Why? The only time really you need loads of power is on the break and going into the pack, and there is enough for that.

yeah i agree the break power n stuff was reduced! now i dont like ever pot from the break.

Just learn a way to pot from the break, Im sure you have managed to pot a red off the break since the max power was reduced, all you need to do is remember it

The snooker and pool games will evolve and be fine-tuned. This is natural for any simulation game to make it as close to the original game as possible.

Best way to think of it...

Just think that that 10% extra was never there, and this is as hard as you can possibly hit it!

Previously (as with 9-ball on pool), breaking up the reds was far to easy, and the game could go any where from there.... Now you are more likely to make the bigger breaks due to the fact that the reds stick around nearer the black.

Stupid idea.

Now its a 50/50 chance of potting of the break.

But least it gives the opponent a chance.
