Is it possible to have another Marathon Tournament?

Now that we know that the marathon Tournaments have been a success could we have 1 on a Saturday night aswell as the Wednesday and the Sunday?

Or Swap the 11 PM Tournament with the 8 PM marathon?

Due to this current time table i have never entered a marathon Tournament since iv been back


Thoughts please?

Or instead of more tournements replace ones that are already there for example the 11pm tourny or the 5pm tourny and have it as a marathon.


Also whilst on the subject why not have a marathon tourny like this...

1st Round : 1st to 2
2nd Round : 1st to 2
3rd Round : 1st to 2
Quarter Final : 1st to 3
Semi Final : 1st to 4
Final 1st to 5

Makes it more of marathon IMO

nooo not the 5pm tourny thats original tourny, theres less of them as it is, maybe as ste said have another marathom at 8pm sometime during the week

Dont know if am being a killjoy or not...but i think we have enough tournies! I think having too many will cheapen winning them a bit.Hope this dont kick off a row as is just my humble opinion!

we dont want more tournies
but more marathons in place of tournies.

I agree, to a certain extent.

For the amount of active users we have now, I feel we have plenty tournaments, and each and every one is a good win.

Pool have a tournament every hour, this is because they have more game types, and more members than us.

I think we'll find that the more users, the more tournies, in order for them to keep value in that respect.

We have alot more members now, infact we usually attract more here now than pool, maybe its time to bring in more tournaments, arcade, orig, speedy arcade, speedy orig, marathon arcade and marathon orig.

In addition...

Our tournaments also take longer than funkypool's due to the nature of the game.

It would not be possible to have as many tournaments here, as they would overlap massively.

I feel we have all the prime time spots, in relation to user activity, covered.

I think we would be lucky to have any more added...
Although replacing, for trial purposes seems a more viable option.

Great idea but make this the 8pm tourney on saturday

Its impossible to accomodate all players with respect to tournament coverage. As Josh correctly pointed out, the current tournament times cover the busier times of the day.

So given that this site is equal, fair and democratic then prime tournaments are scheduled when there is the most people online.

If an extra marathon tourney was to be introduced, it should not be as a replacement (but then again I never have time to enter a full tourney so what do I know......)

Just wondering, now that the arcade marathons have been added. Why haven't anymore original marathons been added?
