One second i can hear the balls hit the bottom of the pocket.. the next i cant hear a thing. I have my speakers on full.. i've made sure "allow sound" is checked in options and ive closed all other programs to see if that will help. But still nothing :S. Any help please?

This could be java related.

First of all, try simply rebooting your computer. If this doesnet work, try removing java from your system completely, and reinstalling it from the website.

You can remove programs completely by going to Control Panle > add/remove programs > selecting which ever java version you have > remove/uninstall.

Finally, once re-installed, reboot your computer again

When this happens to me i go on msn, nudge somebody and the sound comes back on, works everytime

Ahh its fixed itself. Simply closing and re-opening the window worked. Thanks for the help

Ah right, when it happened to me, it did just take a restart (of my comp)... So guessing it wasnt game related.

This is usually caused by MSN java applets (winks) "stealing" the sound from the game applet. So the nudge thing makes sense
