is there a way of calculating how many more wins before you lose again to get your win percentage up

i was just wondering

can someone tell me how

if you do 321 divided by 1274 times 100 it will give you 25.2 so you are 0.8 which is quite alot away from going up 1 (you are closer to going down 1 mate) that could be wrong though anyone else?

Because it is always rounded to the nearest whole number so at 25.2, another 0.3 needed.

Do you mean sort of the ratio between wins and losses? In which case yours would be:

4:1

So on average you win 4 games, lose 1, win 4 games etc. etc. etc.

Yours was quite easy to work out though, considering you have a straight 80-20 perecentage, would be a lot harder for most other users

how did you work that out

80% is 4:1. there is 5 lots of 20 in 100 and 80 is 4 lots of that 20 leaving 1 20 left to make it up to 100
