I think this has being mentioned but I can't find the thread so here goes!
Swerve shot not stupidly so you can swerve around the table but just abit so you can just get around the odd colour etc.
Just as I was making this topic and playing a game I got a perfect example of what I mean
This would be a good thing to have on the game and would make it more fun better game play
What do you all think?

Think it would be to hard to implement with a swerve shot you need to elevate the cue, and I think you would need a 3d game set for that.
Great Idea tho

What about putting a cue elevation setting at the side? This way you wouldn't have to actually see the cue elevate.. eliminating the need for a 3D game set.
If you don't want to play a swerve shot, you don't alter the setting.
Could that work?

That sounds like a good idea put it at the side then the game play won't have to change, we will just have to ask nick if it is possible to do it

As mentioned before, the problem comes with the 3D game engine requirement (as opposed to a 3D display).
Also, the nap would need to be included in calculations, together with the effect the game has on it etc.
I think this would be a fine addition if a "simulation" version were introduced in future, but a lot of extra work and complications for new users in the basic version.

Swerving in real life is hard also, but i reckon if this was added swerving around a ball would be easy to do. Just make sure you don't snooker yourself

Well you would have to make sure you hit the ball right otherwise it would go off somewher eon the table like in real life also its not hard at all when you playing proper jut make sure that you hit it right and you can do anything with the que ball

Exactly...you have to hit it right to do it easily. But hitting it correctly is easier said than done for some

well if your slightly snookered, you wont be any more.
I still think that doing a swerve shot will be to easy to do. A bit like a jump shot in pool is hard to do, but if added jumpshots to funkypool, it wouldn't be hard to do.

I agree with 2good. The art of snookering will vanish since they are eaily possible to get out of.

I'm going to have to say i dont like it either. I know its part of the game, but i just don't see why we need to change anything about arcade snooker, its fun and has the right degree of dificulty as it is.
