I was thinking, as theres quite often a bit of dodgy banter in the chat rooms, followed by mods and others all saying that its a family site, used by young children... in that case shouldnt the ads be similarly orientated? having Ladbrokes ads for roulette surely isnt... and im sure that there will be other sites out there (or should i say companies) that will be willing to have their ads on here, as opposed to the gambling ones... {i seem to remember William Hill ones too but havent seen any for a while, not sure if theyre still on?}

I obviously didnt know id already posted, i think i had clicked outside the text box and typed anyway, probably typing p or something, and when the screen was loading i just backed up... im sure people will realise that its a bodged post seeing as ive now also said that it is....

The adverts are actually controlled from an outside server so there is limited control this site can have on the adverts and anyway, you have to be 18 to register on these sites, so it's hardly encouraging youngsters to gamble!

most of those sites dont really have the strictest of sign up procedures, im playing 4 sites and im not 18... (obviously not real money) and they all have freeplay options. i was only raising a point about dodgy ads for younger ones, but seeing as its all outside controls then i guess nothing can be done about it

there are worse adds than that such as dating adverts. And they are outside of the games contro as was said above.

Surely thats all opinion? depends on the person, if theyre already into that kind of thing (arcades and stuff) then they might be tempted to have a look into it?

Most of the family computers are protected against children going on websites such as ladbrooks and pornographic website's i have a 6 yr old son and the only thing that he goes on the pc for it to play on powerrangers games and what not, i have full parental control and so should other parents too.
