We got a few swimmers that will get us some medals I'm sure. Also there is Kelly Sotherton, Martin Rooney, Christine Ohuruogu and Nicola Sanders along with that sailor who always wins gold and the show jumping we usually win. And know doubt that we will get the odd one from archery But the Cylcing and long jump are the one we're best at.

The pollution is dreadful, you can see it in the pictures!! Apparently all traffic was to be stopped leading up to the games in Beijing and it needs to be as the pollution level there is now higher than ever according to BBC news, and we are two weeks away from the start. Personally I think most athletes will refuse to run when the day comes.

I think Mo Farah is a good contender for a medal tbh, he has been a good consistant runner in qualifying.

USA are obviously the favourites but hopefully they dont run away with it as it would make the games more exciting and appealing.
Due too the time difference will the games be on tv in the early hours of the morning over here?
EDIT: Also paula radcliffe has declared she will be running, which is good news and hopefully another medal for team GB
