I have just been the opticians to see if i could get contact lenses because my eye sight is very poor and i don't like glasses, i cant get used to them.
They offered me a deal saying if you pay £90 up front tomorrow that sorts you out for the first 3 months then once them 3 months are up you have to pay £45 every 3 months. So it works out £225 a year, and once the year comes round again you pay £90 upfront the £45 each month then so on...
I tried them on and they were perfect, very comfortable and it doesn't feel like your wearing them!
So after i pay the £90 it works out £15 a month..
Do you think they are worth the money?

If you can afford it then £225 a year is a small price to pay for better vision..id say anyway.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Think about it this way. You either pay £225 a year, or you can miss seeing all the things that you love seeing, if one day it gets so bad you go completely blind. No Amy, no wedding, no seeing your child being born. £225 a year is nothing compared to what missing out on those things will be like.

Dole dossers get free vet treatment for pets and free prescriptions (i think)
worth a try at a blag if it saves you the cash
if not then just pay it man

Yeah, when i tried them on it felt good, he gave me glasses about 1 week before and they were great but hard to get used to and very annoying, am happy with the contacts as they are very easy to use and look better. I already told them am at college mike, as soon as you enter there they make sure how old you are, what your doing for a living etc...
But me mums giving me the cash tomorrow, she's just happy am happy.

Just put my new contacts in, they are very comfy but there is no real change, most things are clearer especially snooker but i still cant read small things!
Any one suggest i recommend a stronger version? Or do you think i stick with these?

I would go back and say to them mate. You cant be paying all that money for them half helping you. You need ones that will work perfectly for you and are worth all that money

They seem to have settled down now, i used to look at the tele downstairs and couldn't see the football etc.. but now it feels weird to actually see a game of footy from the sofa lol
Am happy with them, it will stop the strain also.. so overall worth the money.
