that would probably cause big time lag and i would expect it would be hard to implement however, i do like the idea

1) Would create lag
2) Take a while to create
3) More important things to do
4) You can do it yourself if you download the right software e.g hypercam
Nice idea but the reasons above are the reason i disagree with it though.

The idea has been mentioned numerous times, and I also think it would be a wonderful addition to the game. However, I have never agreed about the reactions about lag.
I suppose everyone talks about lag because everyone thinks the game would have to be recorded as a video file, or so... but if such a feature had to be implemented, I'm sure the video isn't the good solution.
Just think that you can see what your opponent plays, and without any lag. This is because your computer receives some data about what shot your opponent has played (direction, strength, etc.), and that data is really small. The server would just have to store this data, for each shot. Then all the recorded shots of a frame would be put together into a file (which would, again, be small). Finally, the game would be able to read that file, and replay the shots one by one.
I'm not saying that it's trivial to implement! But I'm saying this feature would be possible to implement, and would neither create lag, nor take a long time to run.
