i keep getting lags on my break all the time

might get it a couple of shots down road but all the time on break.

im on a optical mouse

no problems before last week

Java remove/reinstall.

Make sure nothing else is running.

Err, clear your Internet history.

Make sure nothing is running in the background.


Try all of those, one should work. If not, Spinner may be able to help

breaks ok now but still a bit laggy

iamtheworst i keep doing that and i keep experiencing problems wether i remove it or not, its so frustrating

OK, we've had this for a long time as many know. Lag, when the options above have been exhausted simply has to be down to a individual setup.

Making sure nothing else is running is vital. MSN mesenger is the worst culprit historically, as are any network intensive apps, like limewire etc.

Browser choice can also be an issue, Firefox is renouned for all kinds of problems, and is inherently slow due its demands on the system.

Problems during break do hint at graphics driver issues, so be sure you have the latest ones for your graphics card.

Also - remember to complete ALL the steps in a java reinstall. Clearing browser histories and rebooing are vital to ensure you dont just waste your time.

Finally - mouse drivers and settings - go to control panel and make sure the settings aren't so fast the cursor is skipping - if it is, your play will lag in a similar manner...

You have got to be messing, it has sorted half the problems on here and all of the top players use firefox, and i have never seen any of the players i know post a problem that is firefox related

im using firefox atm and only MS-Word is Open and the FS-Forum.

not sure on graphics card wasnt a problem its since i downloaded firefox really.

Ill try on IE today sometime to see difference

i just cleared my browser history and did a java reinstall and it cleared within a few days now this thread can be capped
