Just got Pmed by a guest, who was being abusive, I sent the complaint, but thats not what i'm posting about.

I was sure that guests were unable to start pms, however this guest started a pm on me, so i'm thinking i'm going ever so slightly mad(der). Is this a new feature, a fault or has this always been availiable for guests?

Just tried myself and I can't send Pm's how odd..

A Guest opened a PM with me yesterday calling my mum all kinds because i beat him lol

Yeah they have being able to start PM's with people for a while and its wrong they shuldnt be alowed to!

well when i went on I couldn't, something odd is happening here O_o

yes i agree they are only going to use pms to start arguments with people thay have just play obvioulsy because they have lost plus they want a fight cuz we cant do anything we cant ban them they dont have an account i think its silly

But still, when i tried to send a pm as a guest i couldn't thats what is odd

pms seem ok for me but i think if guests are sending pms they are members to know how to use it if u get me lol

That was like a minute ago, so I don't get how the guest started the conversation with you Mike :S

To edit message functionalities:

When in game follow these simple instructions:

- Open the 'Options' window, found in the bottom right hand side of the game window.

- Click on the 'messages' section.

- enable (tick) ignore guests, or PM's... or what ever configuration you prefer.

- OK/Close

The only explanation I could think of is that the user was a member but with a guest name, but I don't think that is what it is.

I know how to do this Used to do it a little while ago to wind my mates up I did tell a mod but it didn't get passed on.

What you do is, start a game, invite someone who is already playing a game. Then it will come up saying "this person is already playing a game," thus starting a conversation. Then they can talk all they like. Weird I know.

well i play a lot of guests mainly because i want a friendly game,but what i have noticed at least 90% of them are members anyway ..faceless members hiding behind the guest name.why i dont know!!..maybe because they can be cheeky monkeys .and get away with it.lol

maybe, but on topic i think it should be sorted, guests have too many rights as it is IMO Pm should defo not be another.
