I was in the Casino didnt finish work till 5:30am all of the punters got kicked out after 3/4th round then we closed the manager said lets all stay till it finishes and get yourself a pint for freeeee ! (Anyways)

What a fight Joe was great unlucky he got knocked down in the first but after that he was all over him, the show boating made me laugh just how much confidence he had during the fight proved he is a true fighter and I for one am glad he is going to retire undefeated because there should be a great end for a great fighter and he did us all proud tonight!

i watched it is was a superb fight Joe Calzaghe was a great player but i am not happy to see him retire but at least he retired unbeaten

I am a great fan of joe, read his book which was a great read and i enjoy watching all his fights including the one last night, overall he deserved to win despite being nocked down in the first. And i was glad he retired unbeaten!

The referee was abit bad because that cut was unberlievable and the fight should of being called around the 10th round but they let it carry on but good match

I dont think Calzaghe should fight again, the money will start taking over and he will get greedy, we all know what happens when you fight for a long time (mohammed ali - even though he deneys he is how he is from boxing)

Brilliant fight, was in work watching it on the laptop half a sleep but yeah one of the best and most one sided fights iv seen! I also agree with si123, the show boating made me laugh!

Hope joe retires now, 46 NO is a fantastic achievement especially when you look at the names he's defeated in getting them stats, a boxer like Amir Kahn should look at Joe as something to look up to.

He has beaten amazing fighters, some may argue about there age, but Joe is no spring chicken himself. Fighting Dawson would be silly, fair play he is the only one out there, bar Kessler who is not scared ot come to Wales, but he is the next generation if you like. Calzaghe can retire now as the top boxer Britain has produced, and the best super middle-weight ever!

I really like Calzaghe but must admit it was an over the hill Jones Jr. That been said but Jones ducked this fight for nearly a decade so its all fair.

okay i think im like the first jones jnr supporter here... soo im exepecting hate mail or something aha... anyway im not saying calzaghe didnt deserve to win.. but yeah i think if they had fought when jones jnr was in his prime. he wasn't the same, but yeah fair play calzaghe just wish theyd've fought a few years ago maybe.

To be fair fair Calzaghe wanted this fight for a long time.

I think Jones was just more interested in the paycheck than anything else.
