Anyone knows why the mouse and the cursor don't move simultaneously?

When I pull down or push up the mouse it takes for the cursor longer to go where it is aimed and the balls roll very slowly.

I’m using XP but under 2000 it worked fine.

My java is fine, it comes up with a verdict of success.

Hmm very strange, if its not the Java I dont know. Shall do some researching for you though.

sounds like lag to me.

like mike said it could be lag, i would see spinner or cuchulain about it mate, there the experts on this sort of stuff.

try not opening so many windows or get rid of programs you dont use.

to get to there you go on: Start > Control Panel, Set Programs Access and defaults

Definately I programm Java myself and it may be that a java application runs slow alongside other windows you may have open, maybe close a few windows and then see if it makes a change

It looks like a graphic card driver issue very much. I suggest you to download the latest driver for your graphic card and install it.

If you don't know where to download it from, tell us what graphic card you own.

windows may be an option but i put it down to programs

try getting rid of some programs you dont use

^^ that's what it sounds like to me too...

small chance it will work but you could try uninstalling the mouse driver,reboot, reinstall the latest mouse driver.

if you do this you may have to operate without a mouse for a little while,, it's not difficult using tabs,alt keys etc.

mine lags a bit but that is because of the adverts is there any way of taking them off??
