We need to remember when Arsenal come down and Man utd and Tottenham the atmosphere is awful becuase we get alot of arsenal fans in the home side who live around here and jsut never wanted go london or pay their prices its the same everywhere with all clubs though

Liverpool's away support is only good if they're winning. If they're winning they'll try and get YNWA going, if they're losing, they stream out.
I've only been two 2 away games for Newcastle (Would have been more, but the final choice is my dads), and we lost both (Wigan & Blackburn), but there is always constant chanting from the Newcastle fans, so much better than home games.

Its a massive stereo type that liverpool only ever sing YNWA, we hardly ever sing it, at the beginning and end of games only. I would say that Liverpool have the most unique songs, Fields of anfield rd, Torres song, won it 5 times and my fav poor scouser tommy and loads more.
Whereas most other fans seem to recycle other supporters songs, you never seem to hear a liverpool song that has already been sung, but you always get fans stealing our songs Utd fans stole 5 times, loads sing the torres song now and celtic seem to have stolen every song merseyside has ever sung.
Also I think liverpool fans are better when we go behind. Can't beat euro nights at anfield though, when the season ticket holders vacate for the night

I don't think anyone did say that YNWA was your only song
I would say that they aren't very good when they go behind, but I only actually remember Newcastle beating them once when I was there, so I can't really just go on them being bad that game
Anyway, this is supposed to be about AWAY support!
Cup games always seem to get the better away support coming up, when we had a replay with Stoke earlier this year, they bought A LOT of fans up, despite it being the middle of the week on a night, we walked past them to our turnstile and they were singing their 'Delilah' song, literally the loudest chant I've ever heard. Wether they've still got a good away support or not, I don't know, I'll find out on Saturday
Really hope that I can persuade my dad to take me down to Hull in the 3rd Round, with extra ticket allocations (The reason that cup away support is better IMO) I can imagine that the atmosphere in the away fans would be amazing. Away games in the league are good enough, but when you've got a couple of thousand more of the fans willing to travel I think it would be amazing!

Now that would be a good decision! Shame that the FA probably don't even know the North exists!

The "torres song" is such an old football tune...plenty of teams have had it about their team or a player...
UNITED for example ... we had one about o'shea years ago it's not very good and we don't use it much anymore...but it's still the same tune

Yeah you had it, but I bet you never sung it!
Can't say there's ever much noise shown on MoTD coming from Old Trafford, no matter how much time they allocate to them

I've been and it is unbelievable the lack of noise that comes from 70,000 + fans...
I also went to watch them at anfield, we lost 1-0, oshea scored last min when scholes got sent off, the lack of noise there was also startling, the only time they ever bothered to sing was to sing "feed the scousers" (which is a geordie favourite to ) but nothing to actaully support their team.
I went to Liverpool V Newcastle game too, and there was decent noise, I think we won 3-1, (Xabi alonso 50 + yarder ) and the geordies kept singing anti - bellamy songs like "!"£$ scared of shearer!" The toon noise was decent but they booed when Milner got subbed for some nobody

Yeah my dad went to Everton away a few years ago around Christmas time and was telling me about that chant
That Newcastle Liverpool game was a week night wasn't it?
Yeah he always gets a canny bit of abuse, deserves it though

If anyone watched the Utd match they will now know what i'm on about.
They were playind sunderland, but still felt the need to sing "feed the scousers" "steve gerrard gerrard, kisses the badge on his chest, then puts in a transfer request" and build a bombfire and stick city and liverpool on it. In the end Sunderland fans started singing YNWA!!!
They are totally obsessed with us and it is amazing to know that even though they have been so dominate in the premiership, the jealousy from them to us is greater from us to them.
Appauling fans all in all.
