I was wondering what everyones views on the whole kaka issue are. I dont think he should go. I think everyone would agree football is about more than money. I believe that is all he is leaving for. If he was true to his heart at Milan, he would he snubbed any offer whatever the cost!

he did snub any offer, but Milan are the ones who have 'agreed' for them to talk to him he said he wants to eventually become the captain at Milan ect. so unless Milan actually say your going i doubt he'll leave.

Even if he does decide to leave, it won't be for City because Madrid have apparently put an offer in for him.

Which is £30mill less the man citys bid, and considering how long it took for them to even consider the £107mill bid don't think madrid are going to have much of a look in.

Kaka going to Man City will mean him playing at a lower level! I think City will benefit more from buying more players for their money or just further funding their academy! You cant just by all the worlds best players and create a whole new team! Im not sure the fans would approve either. You might aswell be called Chelsea!

They won't complain i think if their team to well, and as far i can see they haven't gone mad and tried to get all the top players, not changed the squad loads.

City are becoming really annoying. It is a shame football has come to this, remember this is the true working class sport.

Not only is it a stupid fee (showing just how weak city are off the field) but Kaka is not a player city need. They have scored tons and tons of goals but leaked even more.

The signings of Wayne Bridge, De Jong and De rossi will be more important to city than Kaka.

Just think of the players city could buy with the money they are wasting on one player, they could create a team to win the premiership with their money, but instead they are focussing on making statements.

Finally, city have done nothing to deserve this wealth, if this happened to Liverpool (even though we deserve the wealth more) I would be a bit annoyed, finding the next best player in the world through youth development and scouting is far more appealing to me than seeing us buy Kaka. Give me Stevie G, Carra, Fowler, Mcmanhamon, Owen, etc... over kaka anytime, just can't see where our next wonder kid is coming from

Evans, Ireland, and Sturridge are who I feel sorry for in all this, they don't stand a chance.

I see it as if you had millions in your bank i wouldnt complain if you brought a 250k car and mine was only worth 3k so people shouldnt care if they try buy players for 100,000,000 because if your club ha the money you would all do the same i don't care what anybody things hey all do the same

also :P seems so he declined lol everybody is happy (i'm only happy cus we got them saturday lol)

I'm a bit disappointed we're not going to see kaka in the premier league but also glad there are still players out there with the right morals.

Pfft not sure about that either Mike.

I don't personally believe Kaka wanted to stay, or he would have just came out at the time. I think that the owners were willing to sell, Kaka was willing to go, but the fans protesting meant they had no choice but to make him stay.

City say they had already dropped the deal because it became obvious he was only going for the money, wanted so many get our clauses it was obvious he didn't have any other reason than mony for coming.

If Real/Utd come in for him with a strong bid and big wages he will be gone like a shot me thinks

Edit: and now robinho has run off like a girl back to Brazil, oh dear City

Kaka's Own Words Were That He Would Love To Play In The Premiership so if the right team came along e.g top four sides i dont think he would refuse the offer!
