I think that the time allowed to enter a speed tournament should be changed to 1 minute, as with it staying as it is (2 minutes) this gives the newbie's less chance to finish in time.

Also, people like to enter their matches late, which leaves them less time than 10 minutes which is harder to finish. Matches usually finish between the last 3-0 minutes which indicates just how important that one minute is.

It also rushes the people that laze around to act upon the invite to the game, and therefore everyone can get along with their game, and not worry about running out of time as much.

I think you've made a good point. But I don't think we can control what opponents do as to joining their game quicker. Other than that, I quite like your suggestion.

Seems a good idea to me, 1 minute to join a game is plenty, with a reminder after 30 seconds. If people are still in a game, they have a decision to make, they have had 10 minutes (presuming they were online before the tournament link) to be ready to play.

Well this is what I was thinking, because if you have started a fresh game whilst being in the tournament then that's your fault. If you join, you join, if you don't, you don't.
